Salam Alaikum brothers and sisters =)

1. Preserving the ties of kinship:

" Whoever wishes that his provision be increased and his age lengthened, let him maintain the ties of kinship." [al-Bukhari and Muslim]

2. Performing many prayers in the two noble Harams (in Makkah and Madinah):

"Prayer in this masjid of mine is superior to a thousand prayers elsewhere, except for Masjid al-Haram, and prayer in Masjid al-Haram is superior to one hundred thousand prayers elsewhere." [Ahmad and ibn Majah]

3. Performing prayers in congregation.

"Prayer in congregation is superior to praying individually twenty-seven times." [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]

4. Praying `Isha and Fajr in congregation:

"He who prays Isha' in Jama'ah [congregation] is as if he has prayed for half the night. As to him who (also) prays Fajr in congregation, it is as if he has prayed all night." [narrated by Malik and the wording is that of Muslim who also reported it]

5. Performing voluntary prayers at home.

"Superiority of a man's prayer in his home over his prayer when people see him is like the superiority of an obligatory prayer over a voluntary one." [al-Bayhaqi, classed as Saheeh by al-Albani] "The most superior prayer of a person is in his home, except for obligatory prayers." [al-Bukhari and Muslim]

6. Observing some manners of the day of Jumu`ah:

"Whoever ghassala on the day of Jumuah, then comes in the earliest time and before the first khutbah, walks and doesn't ride, stays near the Imam, listens and does not speak - for each step [he makes] he has actions of one year, the reward of fasting and standing in prayer in it." [Ahl as-Sunan]

7. Salat ul-Ishraq.

"Whoever prays al-ghadaa (i.e. al fajr) in congregation, then sits remembering Allah until sunrise, then prays two units of prayer, has a complete reward of Hajj and `Umrah [The Prophet, sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam, repeated 'complete' three times for emphasizing]." [at-Tirmidhi, classed as Saheeh by al-Albani]

8. Attending lectures in the mosque.

"Whoever goes to the mosque not desiring except to learn or teach what is good has the reward of a pilgrim who completed his Hajj." [at-Tabarani, classed as Saheeh by Al-Albani]

9. Performing `Umrah in the month of Ramadhan.

"`Umrah in Ramadhan is equal to a Hajj with me." [al-Bukhari]

10. Performing obligatory prayers in the Mosque.

"Whoever leaves his home in a state of purity to perform obligatory prayer, his reward is like that of a pilgrim (while) in the state of ihram [i.e. he receives reward similar to that of spending time in ihram during Hajj]." [Abu Dawud, classed as Saheeh by Al-Albani] So one should be in a state of purity when leaving one's home, rather than the place for ablution within the mosque, except due to necessity.

11. Being from the people of the first row in congregational prayers.

`Irbad bin Saariyah, may Allah be pleased with him, said: "The Messenger of Allah, sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam, used to seek forgiveness for [the people of] the first row three times, and for [the people of the] second row once." [an-Nasa'i and Ibn Majah]. "Allah and His Angels make salawat upon [the people of] the first row." [Ahmad, with a good isnad]

12. Prayer in Masjid Qubaa' in Madinah:

"Whoever purifies himself in his house then comes to Masjid Qubaa' and prays in it has the reward like that of `Umrah." [an-Nasa'i and Ibn Majah]

there is a 2nd part to this .. so dont miss it =)

and what do you think about these points?

BarakAllahu Fik for your time =)

I found some pretty fall leaves, and I want to make a bookmark out of them. My friend said it works, but does it really last?

Thanks!

wrote this for my language arts class like 2 weeks ago and wanted to know if you thought that this has to much detail. My friends tell me that I write with too much detail, to the point where it gets boring. Is this good or does it sound like a swallowed a theasuarus?

a?Tour guide?a? I said with confusion, my stomach churning with surprise from the unsuspected task. a?Thatas a pretty big responsibility and I donat think Iam up to it, I canat even keep track of my underwear let alone fifty other ants,a? my emerald eyes searched up the body of Wise, his sun worn skin a canyon of copper wrinkles.
a?If anything happens, no big deal, there are plenty of other younglings that would love to be a replacement for an ant such as yourself,a? he smiled down at me, my legs shifting uneasily under his burning gaze. a?No later than nine tomorrow morning, Iall be awaiting your arrival in the Mess Hall and if you choose to not be there you will have to face the consequences,a? he said and turned without a backwards glance, the shuffling of his worn slippers echoing off the jagged dirt walls.
I rolled my eyes and sat back down on my preserved potato bed, beads of sweat running swiftly down the side of my face. a?Stupid old ant thinks he can scare me,a? I mumbled with unease and pulled my leaf comforter over me. a?Consequences,a? I said and chuckled. What does that consist of, scrubbing the dirt off his feet? I smirked, the lids of my eyes drooping with exhaustion as the days memories flowed lithely through my mind.
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
I groggily opened my eyes and bellowed a boisterous yawn, grimacing at the stale bitter taste that littered the inside of my mouth. Almost time. I thought apathetically and glanced down at my watch, the hands slowly ticking to the hour of nine. Better find Wise before he has a cow and blows my head off, crazy old coot. I slid off the bed, bolts of pain erupting up the side of my thorax as my feet touched the ground.
a?Consequences,a? crooned an eerie voice. I looked cautiously around the room, my heart throbbing sickly inside my chest.
a?Whoas th. . .a? I began my question cut off by the intruderas raspy voice.
a?Consequences,a? I turned towards the closet, its dark depths illuminated by glowing crimson stones. They blinked once, a withered ant stepping out of the darkness and into the rays of the morning sun.
a?Wise what are you doing here?a? I demanded and clutched my hand against my heaving abdomen.
a?Consequences,a? he repeated, foam cascading from his mouth and onto the earthen floor.
a?Itas only eight forty-five. I. . .a?
a?Go now,a? he said. a?People are waiting for their tour and youare going to give it to them,a? the lines of his mouth stretched into a scowl, his serrated mandibles clicking together with blood curdling clacks.
I grabbed a blue cotton shirt as I went, my pace quickening and the intensity of Wiseas stare engulfing me in suffocating flames. Faster Ferdy. I said anxiously exerting all my power into my legs and slammed the wrapper door behind me. I think he has finally snapped. I thought frightened.
The door clicked open, haggard breaths audible over the heavy footfall of my bare feet. a?Donat disappoint me Ferdy!a? he yelled. a?Youall be sorry if you do!a?
I glanced behind me; his skin flushed with anger and his fists shaking threateningly towards me. I heaved the shirt over my head, stuffing my arms into the holes and rounded the russet corner leading to the rest of the colony. Glad thatas over. I thought, relief hungrily devouring my fear. But nowas thereas a job to do, one that I am not looking forward to. A sigh escaped my lips, the aroma of Tuesdayas breakfast drifting into the musky air. I edged to the right, the hole leading into the Mess Hall coming into view, the smell becoming more profound and mouth watering. My legs stopped abruptly the a?consequencesa? coming to mind. No eating for now, a job is to be done and you donat want Wise to know that you arenat occupying your duty, do you? I looked longingly at the mess hall, saliva threatening to burst through the dam of my tongue. a?No,a? I said and shook my head. a?Living is more important than food,a?

You are at last at the deepest part of me.
You have seen me; seen right through me.
You have touched my heart with the gentle passing of your fingertips.
My body trembles.
I lie in wait for you.
You have seen me.
I have seen you as when the lonely night sees the sun beginning to rise.
You have shown me.
Your warmth caresses me, envelops me.
Like your warm breath on my neck,
It sends shivers down my spine.
I wait in anticipation.
You have opened me.
We are now One.
We are now, what we should, One.
You have opened me.
Like a flower blooming, late blooming, at the seasonas calling.
I have heard you.
And you have watched me grow.
You have seen me rise.
Rise and fall.
You have seen me falling.
Falling like a leaf, unsure of itas person.
Letting go of the steady tree that is its foundation; the source of its life.
Not wanting to fall.
You have watched me falling, swiftly gliding, to the left and to the right
In the wind, until I reach the ground.
Alone.
But you have picked me up; you have preserved me and kept me safe.
No longer alone.
And I will rise again.
You have reminded me, continually reminded me, of what I can be.
Love.
You have shown me love.
Pure, genuine, raw.
Beautiful, natural, tender.
Your love is like the bead of sweat that moves down your body.
Love emanates from you.
It drips off of you and it covers me.
It binds me.
Protection.
It trickles all over me.
I need you.
The words in my heart, as many as the stars in the night sky.
Untouchable.
I cannot reach them.
So I leave them there, and I wonat try to make sense of them.
But they exist.
They linger on the edge of my lips.
They burn at the tip of my tongue.
A kiss for every word I canat bring myself to say to you.
They are not lost, for you can taste them. Savour them.
And then a kiss for every time you understand what Iave been trying to say.
I love you.

I am trying to press/preserve some fall leaves and the wax paper doesn't seem to want to stick to eachother. I don't know what I am doing wrong. I know the wax paper I am using is really old, is there a chance that it could just be bad??

Okay, so for my German language class (don't ask, haha) I need to press some fall leafs. How do I go about doing this? Step-by-step. I would like to preserve the color if at all possible.

Thank you! I will be sure to pick Best Answer! (:

I am using real leaves on my Halloween costume, will spraying the leaves with polyurethane preserve them? Is there a better substance to use, ideally it would be something non-flammable, thanks.

Ok I know it boring, but if you can look past that I and focus on the writing that would make me very happy, but what do you care about my happiness...anyways... (It's a school paper, so you can't really do anything exciting or else it will be flagged as inappropriate ;)

That's kinda long huh? I understand if you dont want to read it.....
yeah there ants.....but I'm kinda basing them off of people, so they probably dont really sound like ants.....Stupid prompt!

I would like to use real leaves for my school project and am wondering what the best way to preserve them is. I would like them to still look green and fresh and not dried out but I am not sure if this is possible. if any of you have any suggestions they are greatly appreciated. I also dont mind if the way involves various supplies/chemicals, just as long as it will work and look nice. thank you!

My fiance and I are going to be getting our engagement pictures taken next month and I am having troubles finding out what colors we should wear in our outfit. I am light-skinned with blonde hair and hazel eyes. My fiance is half Black, with brown hair and eyes.

The pictures are going to be taken outside in a forest preserve in the Midwest, where the leaves will be changing colors, etc.

I want to coordinate outfits so we compliment each other (not match!) but I also want the outfits to look nice against our background being outside. Any ideas???

I am going to be doing a fall project in a few weeks using leaves that have changed color and fallen from trees. I'm afraid if I just leave them in a drawer, they will dry out and crumble apart when I use them. Does anyone know of a way to preserve them between now and then?
Thanks.

Okay, as you already know. I have a special needs child. I work. Yesterday, an old buddy of mine, called me up, out of the blue, and asked if I wanted to go hang out with her and her friend. I was hesitant, because I don't usually go out, and I feel guilty when my son isn't with me, plus I hate being home alone. So I told her I would ask my mom would she watch him for a couple of hours, she said yes. So I asked my mom could my son spend the night because my grandma had watched him all last weekend, while I worked overtime, and while my mom went out of town with her alcoholic boyfriend. So my mom said that she would watch my son all weekend, to give my grandma a break. Okay, so he spent the night with my mom last night, I went out with my friend, then went back home and went to sleep and went to work this morning. I called my mom, to see how my son was doing. And she asked me whether I was picking him up this evening when I got off work. I asked her what for? He is already over there, and shes watching him tomorrow morning while I'm at work, so why should I come get him. Mind you, this is the first weekend, he has ever spent the night with my mom. Anyways, she said she had things to do, and I can bring him back tomorrow, like I usually would do. I told her I'm trying to preserve my gas, I live 30 minutes east of the city limits. Then I got mad and told her that the only thing she had to do was with her boyfriend. Funny how, it's fine for him to be able to stay with her, and she not kick him out, and he doesn't even live here, he lives in Ohio, just here I guess laying up with my mom. But my son, has to leave and come back because he is an inconvenience on her. Mind you she watches him once a week, and hasn't been coming through on her end of the agreement, because she goes out of town a lot, or makes excuses for keeping him this one day a week, and leaves my grandma to make up for her slack. Is this too much to ask for her to let him spend the night, instead of me taking him all the way home and bring him all the way back the very next day?
FYI; I work 8am-4pm Thurs-Mon, I'm off Tues and Wed, my son has in home therapy on Thurs evenings and Wednesday afternoons, MY son goes to daycare Mon -Fri 7:45am-4:30pm, and goes to grandma every Saturday, and goes to my mom's on Sundays. But lately my mom will go on vacations and leave my grandma to have to miss church to watch my son. My mom will make excuses, and she only watches him one day out of the week. I go to school Tuesdays, while my son is at daycare. MY son is home with me when he isn't at daycare and when I'm not at work. So Is this unreasonable what I"m asking my mom to do?

I have an oak leaf that is important to me and I would like to save somehow, but its dry and dead (and not pressed). Whats the best way to keep it?

My friend really likes the outdoors, and I wanted to make him a gift. He had mentioned to me that he wished all trees stayed green throughout the year, and that the leaves wouldn't change color. I was wondering if there was a way of keeping the green color in the leaves even after the branch was taken off the tree. Maybe even keeping the flexibility of the branch. If not the flexibility, it's no big deal, because I know his wrist size as well as hand. Thanks for your help!!

Until recently we had a dog who ate Orijen Regional Red kibble, and we still have quite a bit left which the cats LOVE. Is it ok to use as treats? Maybe 10-15 kibbles a day? It looks healthier than using the "name brand" treats so do you think it's ok?

How do I reserve the leaves of a sycamore leaf? Is there a household formula?

Found a field of bamboo trees.

Once it is cut and you remove the leaves, how do you preserve the color and what steps to keep it strong?

I don't mean nibbling on leaves, or rubbing antlers on trunks during rut. I mean snapping off a 1 to 1.5 inch trunk 4 or 5 feet above the ground.

In the 4 years we've been here( unincorporated area of the Chicago suburbs) we have learned to live with the (over)abundance of whitetails... our young trees have the bark covered in plastic drain pipe and our small trees(fruit and other saplings) are surrounded by fencing. Because we have planted approx 30 trees around the yard, it's not practical to surround all with fencing.

This June, the day after a big t-storm, we found two established trees(1"+ trunks), a Bradford pear and a tulip poplar snapped off at 4 -5 feet. We attributed to panic deer running from the adjacent forest preserve trampling anything in the way. Last night we had a hard rain(no thunder) and found a 10' London plane snapped off.

I don't know what to do. I can't fence all trees, and I can't believe scented repellents will work(I suspect these are quick hits on the trees where the deer are not lingering anyway).

Like a lot of areas, we have a population explosion of whitetail, and thinning the population is never popular with the Bambi-loving crowd. (For the record I am not a hunter but a proponent of responsible gamesport) Short of culling with a .30-06, I am stumped.

Is there any dealer or shop to laminate & preserve monumental things like leaves in Chennai?

I have naturally pretty dark brown hair but I dye it JET black. Yes there's a HUGE difference.

But I have no clue if it fades or flat ironing my hair leaves it streaky and it eventually goes back to how it was before?

How do you "preserve" the color?

My best friend leaves for college in a week. We've had the idea of somehow scanning our notes we've written in high school and keeping them in a binder/scrapbook for us to take to college with us. Anyone have ideas to make this easier for us? Ps from what I have counted in my pile, which is 60+, it would be nice if it wasn't too costly.

Do wild blackberry leaves keep their medicinal value when dried in a dehydrator, or is it best to dry naturally?

I'm having some severe health problems right now and finding that the wild blackberry leaf tea is working wonders so have picked a huge batch to dry now.

Also, if you know, I read that the leaves are most potent if picked before or when the plants are blooming. Is there any merit to that?

Thanks very much in advance.

and Vishnu? Here are a few quotes.

1)When Sasraar Chakra opens, the person becomes an alive body of Shiv and when he leaves his body he become pure Shiva- Shiv Purana.
2)Aham Brahmasmi. I am also the pure manifestation of God.
3)"With help of Tapasya, Brahma creates this world, Vishnu preserves this world and Shiv destroys it"- RamCharitManas UttarKaand.
4)In the beginning, Brahma got the power to create this world properly only after doing a long Tapasya.
Is it like going towards Poornatwa(completeness)
Kayla, Kindly mention those factors. Those are very precious for me.:)
WOULD YOU PLEASE GIVE ME SOME OTHER POINTS THAT SUPPORT OR CONDEMN THIS THEORY?
Yes Shivam ji, It is their natural instinct gifted by Krishna. This is how Krishna kept the unworthy people away from Vedic Marg. But trust me he also blessed many people from other religions who have a very insightful knowledge of Hinduism like Mr. Patrick(dances with Kali) whom I recently added. MythBuster whom I will title as "one dharmayoddha arya." and many others. I am very grateful to them. I have a few muslims friends who love Hinduism very much and they do Artis and go to Mandirs. Actually Hinduism has taken major part of their daily religious activities.
So Hindus can't claim now that they are the only heir of Vedic heritage.
Yea, He is a true Hindu, Shivam ji.
DG, I didn't connect it with any never-ending quest but it is always increasing pleasure.

I read this book called Capitalism 3.0 by businessman Peter Barnes and it is amazing.

Let start out by saying i LOVE capitalism. I love walmart, I love netflix, I love all of the cheap amazing stuff I have. I also like that I can profit from the stock market. However, I feel like corporations today are putting the world on an unsustainable course.

Here is the basic problem: Corporations focus on short term profit creates an economic system that destroys the environment, widens wealth inequality, and doesnt make consumers happier. Furthermore, the destruction of the environment leaves future generations with problems we create today.

The solution: Assign capital value to all commonly owned things (fresh water sources, trees, clean air, the internet, science and technology etc). This creates the commons sector, which is not owned by any government, and each person gets 1 share. The purpose of the commons sector is to preserve all commonly owned gifts to remain untainted for future generations.

-- Thus an example would be as follows --

Today: Logging companies make huge profits by cutting down trees, and polluting rivers and lakes. They pay little for the trees they harvest, and little for the pollution they create.

With Capitalism 3.0: Logging companies would have to pay for the pollution they create and trees they harvest, and thus the free market would force them to be efficient (ie planting more trees) and to be environmentally friendly.

What do you guys out there think?

I consider this a conservative economic system because it does NOT support communist or socialist ideas of public ownership or regulation of corporations. It is also liberal, because it sets up a system to balance a corporations need for profit with preservation of the environment.

So i moved to california from boston and after months of no bites for my room I rented my room out to a couple.

Feel free.
A friend of mine e-mailed it to me.

What does the line, "plain black hats rode the thoughts that made our code" (line 2) mean?

Mine was a Midwest home-you can keep your world.
Plain black hats rode the thoughts that made our code.
We sang hymns in the house; the roof was near God.

The light bulb that hung in the pantry made a wan light,
but we could read by it the names of preserves
outside, the buffalo grass, and the wind in the night.

A wildcat sprang at Grandpa on the Fourth of July
when he was cutting plum bushes for fuel,
before Indians pulled the West over the edge of the sky.

To anyone who looked at us we said, "My friend";
liking the cut of a thought, we could say, "Hello."
(But plain black hats rode the thoughts that made our code.)

The sun was over our town; it was like a blade.
Kicking cottonwood leaves we ran toward storms.
Wherever we looked the land would hold us up.

if anyone could help it would be much appreciated! thanks!

I dug up about 20 or so rhizomes because I'm planting a tree in the area they were in, now I need to know what to do with them. I can't find anyone to take them for replanting today, so looks like I'll have to replant them in a different area, but I don't have the time for the next few weeks.
What do I need to do to preserve them for replanting this fall? They still have all the length of the leaves and the roots are several inches long. Please help, I don't want them to die.
One reason I don't have time to transplant them is the other beds are overgrown and will take a few days to clean out, and I don't have all the time in the world, they need to be planted or preserved now.

I am 21 and I just found my first, and probably only, 4-leaf clover. I'm just wondering what different methods there are that I can use to preserve it and keep it on my person. I'm aware of 2, laminating and pressing. To laminate (this one seems most desirable to me,) should I press it first, and if so for how long? I would like to be able to keep it in my wallet.

I have a tenant, but I would like to use some trick to get him out of the house. What trick can I use? Can I tell him that the house is going under foreclosure? Will that make him runaway? I also want to ensure that the property is preserved when he leaves the property.

Because of the circumstances & contract, I cannot tell him directly to leave the property.

I was told that sperm can only survive for a few seconds (or a couple of hours) outside the body. My sister used the same bath as me and it had some sperm in it, so we were worried that she could have gotten pregnant, but I've been told that sperm can't survive outside of the body, so she's not pregnant but it leaves me wondering how it's normally preserved.

alright, so I'm writing a story. But I feel like it sounds like a bunch of other stories. Have any advice on how to make it different?
Here it is:

In the future, after a short but bloody war, aliens have taken Earth. Nevada is one of billions affected by the evil Worms that have inhabitted her home. She was one of many that lost her family, her home, her saftey. Her sister, Rain, was one of the first murdered in the war. Her father, who had raised both Nevada and Rain by himself, is killed in a revolutionary revolt. Revolutionaries are people who openly oppose the Worms' rule. Nevada is left on her own for the first time in her life. At age five, she leaves her house to escape from the memories that lurk in her home town. She is helpless, though, and becomes just another hungry street rat. The older regulars are collected by the Worms to be used. Bodies are becoming a supply in demand. The Worms replace the souls that lived in the bodies, it is how they live. These souls are usually kept in the form of a silver dust that is preserved in obsidian tanks.

As the numbers of bodies dwindle and the need for them increases, younger and younger hosts are recruited. It is only a matter of time before Nevada is taken as well. But the Worms are becoming greedy, and they begin to experiment on their prisoners. They find a way to grow wings from the regulars' backs. This makes them all the more valuable to the Worms. But Nevada's wings refuse to grow in, and she is discarded after she is experimented on. She finds a gang of rogue regulars, people who rob and kill to feed themselves. Vicious gangs that are feared by lone regulars.

Nevada kills and robs just like the rest of them, until one day the ring holder, or gang leader, is taken by the Worms. The gang falls apart and Nevada is alone again. She moves to a different city to escape from the growing number of rogue gangs and Worms. She comes to a smaller city that has far less Worms and nearly no rogue gangs. She is found by Jay, a merciful, wise, and calm boy that was one of the first flyers. Flyers are reguars that have wings and can fly. Jay's wings are large, over eighteen feet across, and he cannot hide them. But he knows all there is to the city and how to survive in it.

I would tell you more, but I would really hate it if any of you even tried to copy it. All ideas excepted.
Thanks

I have an art project due in 4 days. I am thinking of using lots of leaves as decoration, but I am afraid they will shrivel up and become brown too soon. How long will they stay nice and green after I pick them? And is there anything I can do to help them stay green longer?

Um its for the memory keepers daughter book and moive, it doesnt matter if u have seen it just can comeone correct the spelling punctuation? its the first pharagraph of a essay after the infro pharagraph, grade 11 eng.
If the film The Memory Keeperas Daughter is only watched and not read, a couple of the characters can seem unbelievable and not relatable, showing them in unflattering ways that is very different from the book. This novel is written so it is very hard to detest any of the characters. There is Norah who goes behind her husband and sons back by having an affair. Yet in some way the novel makes her actions almost just. In this book we know what drives her to do what she does, because we know Davidas secret, even if she doesnat at the time. The readers know how she is always the subject of Davidas photographs, how he never really sees her. a?How many times has she stood just this way, the subject and an object too, posed to evoke or to preserve what really did not exist, her true thoughts locked away?a?(Edwards 185) In the novel this is the thought that runs through her mind when she meets Howard, the first man she cheats on David with, how badly she wants to verify she exist, and is more then just a subject. a?He has sketched her hair, a soft cloud, amorphous, but that was all. Where she has stood the page was blank. Her clothes had fallen like leaves, and he had looked up to see her standing there.a?(Edwards 187) Norah is so consumed with wanting to be noticed, and to have others see her as a strong individual, a woman who has control and can do what she strives for in life. In the movie Norah does not come off in this view, she is shown clearly as a woman who is not satisfied with the life she has and hates being ignored by her husband who is obsessed with photography. They do not show how depressed Norah becomes when she hears her daughter has died; her daughter that she did not had the chance to get to know, now gone forever. How Norahas life slowly starts to unravel, unconcerned to how hard she is trying to keep it together. a?Lately, the world felt fragile, like a blown egg, as if it might shatter beneath a careless touch." Kim Edwards (Edwards 98) Norah becomes an alcoholic and drives as far and as fast as she can do try to make sense of the world she lives in. Norah sees her daughter in her mind and feels her existence everyday, and everywhere she goes; a constant reminder of her loss, tormenting her.
Kim Edwards also allows the reader to care for David, who gave away his daughter because of a mental disability, but instead of seeing him as a rude, unethical man, we are drawn to him and his need to shield everyone he loves, trying to spare them pain, thinking that to avoiding the hurting rather than accepting it will keep his loved ones protected. Edwards using the metaphor of a wall (holding things in as well as keeping things out) Writes about how David, while trying to protect his family, suffocates them, putting up walls to keep them away from the lies he has told and created. Causing them to notice those walls and not know why they are there, and unable to tare them down. This view we get of David form the novel is quite contrary in the film. In this film, like with Norah, they have trouble showing this side of David, and what drove him to the decision he made on the night of his son and daughters birth.

if anyone did it, thanks! :D

And tell me anything I could do to make it better...I posted this question before but I said I would again because I didn't get a lot of answers...
So sorry about the length, please try to read it all!...

I've just started it.

The girl was still and silent, porcelain features deathly white. Her blonde hair waved softly across the forest floor, tangled in leaves and twigs. Her eyes were close and her chest was still.
Shead breathed her last breath.
For now.
Who was death to think he could claim Scarlett Avilon?

Every faerieas biggest fear was the Were. A curse that destroyed lives- one bite was all it took to turn you into a wild and insane shape shifter. Those who were bitten were sent to live in a remote mountain range, where they wouldnat be a danger to every one else.
Scarlett never planned on being bitten. Shead grown up more intelligent than every other faerie put together, and so beautiful she could wrap the most hard- heated faerie around her finger. Shead written 7 books and her company, which specialized in everything, had put all competition out of business.
She was 12 years old.
A wild pack of Weres, driven mad by the curse, had come down from the mountains. Scarlett saw them rushing towards her, eyes wide and fearful, rolling in agony. She saw a brief flash of teeth, claws, mutant wolves, hybrid cats and horses. Only half faerie.
And then they were upon her.
They were driven largely by fear, and they didnat stop-hooves thundered over her and claws ripped through her. There was only one bite, on her left leg. But that was all it took. An ordinary person would have despaired, and fled before the curse took hold, before they became a danger to their family. The thought never occurred to Scarlett. Self-pity had never appealed to her. She knew she had precisely 90 seconds of rational thinking before the curse took hold. Her hand went straight to her pocket and found the little handheld computer there. Her fingers flew across the touch screen. The email read

Soon, the public knowledge will be that I am dead. Preserve my body- I will soon need it. There will be a stone beside my computer- mind it with your life.

She hit send.
60 seconds left.
a?Last resorta? she whispered. The computer scanned her voice and the password. a?Iris scan in processa said the computeras cool voice. Every fleck in her amber-gold eyes was put under thorough inspection.
a?Scan completea? said the computer. A secret window appeared on the screen a?Enter passworda it read. Cursing her own security measures, she typed a?lifea.
a?Life vacuum to be initiated. Confirm?a?
a?Yes, yes! I confirm!a? she snapped exasperatedly.
a?Life vacuum initiateda? the computer announced, in a voice that infuriated Scarlett. She had 25 seconds left to transfer her life to somewhere else, before her body came under the Were curse.
A slot opened underneath the computer screen. Scarlett felt herself become weaker. That was because she had placed a moonstone inside the slot- a stone that attracted and absorbed life like a magnet. Something shead recently discovered. Who knew shead have to avail of it so soon.
50% complete. 15 seconds to go.Slowly, the percentage bar snailed forwards, and Scarlett became weaker and weaker until she could hardly keep her eyes open. She could feel the pain ripping through her leg, sending sharp spasms up and down her nervous system. She knew she hadnat long before her body was out of her control. She just had to make sure her mind was somewhere else first.
100% complete. The moonstone slid out of the slot in the computer, Scarlettas life safely sealed inside. Her body collapsed, the life having been drained from it.
That was how the man found her, seconds later. She looked, for all the world, like an ordinary 12 year old girl, peaceful in death. But he knew his master was still very much alive, and that Scarlett was not an ordinary girl. People who under-estimated Scarlett Avilon usually ended up dead.
Okay well Scarlett is sort of the evil character in the book, I just started off with her. The main character is Hazel. I didn't get to her yet but she's more normal, and far easier to relate too. I reveal more about Scarlett as the story goes on, about her life and stuff. At the moment, because she's a genius, she feels distanced from everyone else, and I'll tell more about that later in the book.

I found a huge four leaf clover and would like to have it forever. Help Please!!!!
